The War of the Worlds - HG Wells

For my reinterpretation of the classic sci-fi novel, I wanted to do something different to the usual tripod + heat ray image that is often used. I did a number of sketches before deciding to focus on the ‘red weed’ that spread wherever the invading Martians had been.

I did the final illustration in Procreate, with custom lettering in Affinity Designer (Illustrator).
